Update on Big Boy "Baby O's baby"

On Sunday Baby O's baby turned 1 week old. As you know we were worried about his foot because it was turned under at the first joint, actually both legs were like this at birth but one was a lot worse. As you saw in last week's blog my husband made him a splint. Well it worked, after a few days he could stand on it with just once in a while it turning under and now he is running and playing with the other kids in the nursery. That's what we call it because all the calves will be laying together and sleeping. Monday night after I got home from work I rode the 4 wheeler to check on one of the cows who is due any day and the kids were running, playing, and kicking up their heels. Pretty cute I must say. I took these pictures on his 1 week birthday. I told Richard I hope he doesn't get caught up in a wind with those ears of his. And what about the ones where he took the time to stop and smell the flowers, actually to stop and try to eat the flowers. Silly Boy!!!

How blessed are you to be living on a farm!!!

Yes, I miss my cat...we lost our other one the year before at 15. One day they will be replaced once we are settled somewhere!
