Why I named my blog this title.

My family and friends make fun of me because I always have my lipstick and jewelry on even when we are working with the cattle. Well a girl has to look good even in the barnyard. You never know who might come along you know. Actually it's kind of like chap stick to me. When I was dressed for turkey hunting last year at 4:30am I might add, my husband looked at me and said, do you have on lipstick and I said what do you think? He just laughed. Here we are sitting in the woods at dawn and I have on my lipstick. Anyway I hope you all will enjoy my blog, it will be about a lot of things, family, animals, projects, antiques, decorating, cooking, and farm life. Here is a picture of me and my husband a couple of weeks ago with some of the cattle behind us. We love our farm and animals and we take very good care of them. Most of the cattle will eat out of our hands and we raised one on a bottle last year. Her name is Lucky Girl. More to follow on her and much more to come. Hope you will enjoy!!!
