Me and a best friend went on a Antiquing trip last Friday. I found some really neat stuff. I guess my favorite would be this old box I transformed with some paint and wax and these old wooden bowls. They just needed a little product on them to bring them back to life. I used a product for butcher block counters and it also said to be used on wooden bowls and spoons. I think they look beautiful now and so another collection starts. We also picked up some rusty iron bird feeders and garden stakes which I will post later. In fact we drove 80 miles one way to get the rusty bird feeder. A friend of ours had gotten one in this little Missouri wine town so we had to make the trip too.
Welcome to my blog. I am a Farm Girl at heart and a photographer, still working full time and love to decorate my home. I am married to my wonderful husband for 31 years who puts up with all my ideas and believe me I have many. We have a little male Yorkie named Jake, a Manchester Terrier named Molly and lots of cattle. Both of our dogs are rescues from bad situations. We treat our cattle better than most people probably treat their kids. We love all our animals. I work at a major University as a Administrative Assistant and do photography professionally on the side. My husband was the owner of an archery business for 35 years but we recently sold the business and we now raise cattle full time
. I love to decorate our home and scour antique shops and flea markets for unique items all the time. You can usually find me out and about on Saturdays looking. I help my friends decorate their homes too. I love to bake and am always taking things to work. We love to go to Wyoming on vacations. We raise cattle and something you might not expect from me is my husband and I love to Turkey Hunt together. I can't wait for spring turkey season.
