This little beautiful girl was born last week to our Lucky Girl, who was raised on a bottle so she is very tame. Actually Lucky had twins but the other one didn't survive. She allows us to hug on her baby and herself but after a couple of days the babies don't want to be hugged. The other night we were checking for new babies
when we saw Ellie standing alone looking for her Mom. I got off the
buggy and knelt down and called her and she came running to me and came
right up to me. When she figured it out she turned and walked away but
not without letting me pet her. And that folks is one of the reasons I
love this farm life.

Farm life moments like that are priceless - way better than winning a lottery! One of my horses that I foal imprinted will sometimes leave the herd out in the field at a trot or lope to come visit me - I never hand feed them she just comes to visit - it is so amazing when they do that!
