- Welcome to my blog. I am a Farm Girl at heart and a photographer, still working full time and love to decorate my home. I am married to my wonderful husband for 35 years who puts up with all my ideas and believe me I have many. We have a little male Yorkie named Jake, a Manchester Terrier named Molly and lots of cattle. Both of our dogs are rescues from bad situations. We treat our cattle better than most people probably treat their kids. We love all our animals. I work at a major University as a Administrative Assistant and do photography professionally on the side. My husband was the owner of an archery business for 35 years but we recently sold the business and we now raise cattle full time . I love to decorate our home and scour antique shops and flea markets for unique items all the time. You can usually find me out and about on Saturdays looking. I help my friends decorate their homes too. I love to bake and am always taking things to work. We love to go to Wyoming on vacations. We raise cattle and something you might not expect from me is my husband and I love to Turkey Hunt and Deer Hunt together. I can't wait for spring turkey season.

I can still get the rubber seals for those jars at the hardware store and I can tomatoes and apples using water bath canning. They really look neat with the fruit in them. The best ones to use are the glass top style as they are real easy to use. Some have chips in the glass so they are always good use like what you are doing.

ReplyDeleteBut I also love Mason Jars, I also have everything from marbles to buttons in them--their possibilities are endless, aren't they?
