Spring Turkey Season is over and my husband and I had so much fun hunting together once again. Here I am after the hunt on the first week.
There is nothing like being in the woods before daylight and watching and listening to the world wake up. The first week of turkey season the dogwoods were in full bloom, it was just beautiful. One morning in addition to hearing the turkeys gobble, I had a woodpecker beside me trying to take a tree down I swear. I squirrel scampered by and I saw a deer too. I had a successful hunt this year getting a turkey the first week and another one the last week and all on my own. I don't blog about hunting but we do cook and eat the harvest we take. We are grateful to have the opportunity to live on this great farm where we are lucky enough to be able to hunt turkey and deer. And there you go, I can hunt it, cook it and serve it up at "Dishin it up at Deena's"

From this to this!
I bought this wooden bucket for $6.00 at an Antique Store that I go to quite often and changed the entire look of it with chalk paint and a graphic..
